Question 1

What is Slowmad?

Accepted Answer

A shared map of travel plans for a circle of friends: who is where now, who is heading where, and where your routes will cross.

Question 2

Do I need exact dates?

Accepted Answer

No. “All of October” or “about three weeks from mid-November” is enough to find the crossings.

Question 3

Who can see my plans?

Accepted Answer

Shared plans are visible to the friends you added and current members of your friend spaces. Any trip can be made private. An active share link opens that one plan to whoever holds it, even a private one; shared pages ask search engines not to index them.

Question 4

Does Slowmad track my location?

Accepted Answer

No. The app never asks for location access and cannot read it. The map shows only what you chose to tell.

Question 5

Is there an Android version?

Accepted Answer

There is no native Android app yet. You can open Slowmad in a browser or inside Telegram, without installing the iPhone app.
